Michigan Steam Expo 2020 has been canceled. We are disappointed to announce, that due to the ongoing concerns around COVID-19, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel Michigan Steam Expo 2020. For the past eight weeks the Committee has explored all options and if there were any assurances that there was a safe way forward we would take it, but at this point we believe this is the right choice. We feel it is no longer practical to continue with an event this size at this time.
The health and safety of artists, attendees, our community, and crew always comes first. We all look forward to a weekend with friends, steampunk attire and props, filled with entertainment and steampunk wonder; it is painful to let it go. We understand that this news is compounded by the sheer number of events that have been canceled leading to so much uncertainty & economic heartache. The Committee appreciates your support and your trust, and hopes above else that you are all stay safe and well!
